You can effortlessly schedule different types of activities under each case with the concerned employees and customers. From the Configuration menu of the Project module, you will get the Activity Types option to define different types of activities to schedule.
The window will show the Name of activities, Default Summary, Planned In, Type of Delay according to the planned number of days, Model, and Icon. By clicking on the ‘Create’ button, you can create a new activity type.
Specify the Name of the activity in the given field. Under the Activity Settings tab, you can set Action as Upload Document, Phone Call, Reminder, Meeting, or None. Action may trigger specific behavior like opening a calendar view or automatically mark as done when a document is uploaded. Add a Default User in the specified field. Similarly, specify a model if the activity should be specific to a model and not available when managing activities for other models. Define Default Summary, Icon, Decoration Type, and Default Note in the respective fields. By selecting a Decoration Type, Legal Office will change the background color of the related activities of this type.
In the Next Activity tab, you can set the Chaining Type as Trigger Next Activity or Suggest Next Activity.
Suggest Next Activity: Suggest the mentioned activities once the current one is marked as done.
Trigger Next Activity: Automatically schedule this activity once the current one is marked as done.
Add an Email Template and specify the number of days/week/month before executing the action in the Schedule field. It will allow us to plan the action deadline. After completing all fields, click on the ‘Save’ button.
